Booking a lodge that sleeps 56 sounds like it should be complicated. It isn't. You can hold your dates on our own site in about five minutes, without a rental agent, a callback queue, or a booking platform taking a cut.

Here is exactly what happens, start to finish.

Step 1 — Check your dates

Open Rates & Reservations and you'll see a two-month calendar with live availability and the nightly rate on every open date. Nothing is hidden until checkout: weekend rates, seasonal rates and holiday rates are all shown up front.

Grey dates are already booked. A date shown as a changeover day is still available to arrive on — someone checks out at 10:00 AM and you check in that afternoon.

Step 2 — Pick check-in and check-out

Click your arrival date, then your departure date. The calendar totals the stay as you go.

Two things worth knowing before you choose:

  • The minimum stay is 3 nights. Some holiday periods are longer, and the calendar will tell you which.
  • Check-in is 4:00 PM, check-out is 10:00 AM. That gives our team the turnaround needed to get 9 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms genuinely ready for the next group.

Step 3 — Tell us who's coming

Name, email and phone. That's it. We ask for a phone number because if anything changes — weather, road conditions in the Smokies, an early-arrival request — we want to be able to reach you rather than hope you check email.

Step 4 — Pay securely

Payment is handled by Stripe, the same processor behind millions of businesses. Your card details go straight to them and never touch our servers.

You'll see the full breakdown before you confirm: nightly rates, cleaning fee, and taxes, totalled. No booking fee is added on top — that's the part most guests notice when they compare a direct booking to the same dates on a listing site.

Step 5 — You're booked

You get a confirmation code and an email immediately. Closer to your stay we'll send check-in details, the door code, and directions.

What if I'd rather just talk to someone?

Then call. 301-238-5133 reaches a person, not a phone tree, and we can take the whole booking over the phone if you'd prefer. For groups sorting out who's paying for what, or anyone planning an event alongside the stay, that's often faster than doing it yourself.

Common questions before you book

Can I hold dates while the group decides? Not through the site — the calendar is live, so dates are only held once a booking is complete. If your group needs a few days, call us and we'll talk through what's possible.

How far ahead can I book? Up to 24 months. Popular weekends, holidays and wedding dates go early, and Thanksgiving and New Year in particular tend to be claimed a long way out.

How late can I book? Up to 24 hours before arrival, subject to availability.

Is the whole lodge mine? Yes. Every booking is the entire 12,000 sq ft property — all 9 bedrooms, the indoor heated pool, the theatre room, the game room and the grounds. You're never sharing with another group.

What about weddings? The lodge has an on-site chapel, and we host ceremonies and receptions alongside the accommodation. Details are on our wedding venue page.

Ready?

Check your dates on Rates & Reservations. If the calendar shows them open, they're genuinely open — and you can have them held in the next few minutes.
